Exeter SOUP team

ExeterSOUP is about promoting community based development through crowdfunding, creativity, collaboration, and fun.

For a donation of £5 attendees receive a wholesome bowl of soup and a vote and hear from four presentations ranging from art, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurs, education, technology and more. If you can provide foodstuff or help on the night, have a look at what you can do.

Each presenter has four minutes to share their idea and answer questions from the audience.

Who are the causes who pitched at previous ExeterSOUP events?

Samaritans listen without judgement. “Talk to us any time you like, in your own way, and off the record – about whatever’s getting to you.  Round the clock, every single day of the year. As volunteers we’re ordinary people who keep what you say between us.”

Exeter Symphony Orchestra

ESO has developed to be the leading symphony orchestra in the City. The orchestra is made up of players with a mix of musical ability. Some were, or still are, professional musicians; others are involved in music through their ‘day job’, and many who simply enjoy the fun and camaraderie of playing in the ensemble.

The orchestra is not a charity and receives no central funding. They rely on the support of volunteers, who come along at concerts, and other events, to help out – from ensuring that refreshments are available at the interval to selling you a programme as you arrive. If you would like to become more involved with ESO, then they would love to hear from you, any support will be gratefully received.
